Here is my alternative ending for ANIMAL FARM by GEORGE ORWELL.

Bad ending of Animal Farm :(

I think the ending is a bad one.

After so much build-up in the body of the story, the ending is unsatisfactory and unfulfilling.

After reading the whole story, I feel furious at the pigs, especially Napoleon.

They abused their power as leaders, and made the other ‘inferior’ animals work hard without reward, even harder than when the farm was under the control of humans.

They lived in luxury while the other animals were hungry and cold.

In the end, the pigs were exactly like the humans whom they loathed so much and chased out of the farm.

The pigs are the ‘bad guys’, and when the story ended, things were still unfair and unresolved on the farm.

The story does not have a ‘happy ending’ where things are fair and justice has been served. It ends with an unresolved problem, which I think is a bad ending.
